Art & Beauty Magazine is a publication dedicated to pageant fans around the world. The magazine covers fashion, beauty, health, fitness, inspirational stories and pageant news. Awards were determined by the magazine's committee of experts as well as a fan vote.

The United States preliminary to the Miss Earth international pageant, Miss Earth United States is under the direction of Laura Clark and US Earth Productions / Beauty Beyond Borders, Inc 501(c)3. The organization acquired the franchise in 2016, and has since also acquired the Miss Earth Puerto Rico franchise.

Art & Beauty's editor Rene Bionat stated that the pageant received top honors because of its exceptional stage design, entertainment value and the beautiful contestants. Bionat commented that the 2016 production was very impressive in its first year under new direction.

Since the fall, Miss Earth United States has received a string of nominations and awards through multiple outlets. The program was recognized on The Pageant Planet's ranking of Top 10 national pageants. Clark was awarded Director of the Year by Prestige Pageantry Awards. Titleholders have been seen on several "Best of 2016" lists including gowns, crownings, and swimwear.

"It has been just one year since the announcement of the new United States franchise for Miss Earth," said Clark. "We are constantly learning, growing and building onto a strong foundation that we hope pageant fans can all be proud of. I am incredibly humbled by the recognition we have received this year."

Welcoming 46 state representatives to the national stage in Washington, DC on August 1, the crowning of 2016 Miss Earth United States Corrin Stellakis has been seen by over one million viewers. Stellakis went on to rank in the Top 4 at Miss Earth 2016. USA has finished in the Top 4 for three consecutive years.

In addition to advancing the winner of Miss Earth United States to the top-ranking Miss Earth pageant, competition divisions are offered for Junior, Teen and Elite up to age 34. The Teen and Elite divisions are also international competition qualifiers. Program participation begins at the state and sometimes local level.

 

Miss Earth United States 2017 national activities will take place in the nation's capital August 4-6, 2017.
