Clark's directorship of Miss Earth United States was announced in January. Clark spent five years as a state director, national titleholder and director of marketing for the Miss United States Organization. She also led program development, marketing and social media for Miss World America, assisting the US representative Elizabeth Safrit to win the Multimedia Award and 2nd Runner Up to Miss World. Before entering pageantry, Clark developed a prestigious career in professional sports entertainment. She was a cheerleader in the National Football League, appearing on CMT's Making the Team: The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. She directed Game Entertainment for Indoor Professional Football for three years and was Creative Director for the Science Cheerleaders.

"Positive pageantry is definitely something I am committed to," said Clark. "I am so thankful to have had positive leadership as an NFL cheerleader, where I learned the phrase, 'Eyebrows Up!' The motivation was to remain optimistic and productive no matter the challenges we faced. I try to manage Miss Earth United States with a selfless, carefree, blessed attitude."

 

In total, four directors were nominated for the award including Chris Wilmer - National Director of Miss World America, Nikki Clark - National Director of International Junior Miss, and Jennifer Kumiyama - Director of The Ms. Wheelchair California Foundation. The 2015 Director of the Year was Jackie Watson, Director of USA National Miss.
