Known as “beauties for a cause,” Miss Earth empowers women through community leadership, ecotourism, and environmental education. Miss Earth is known as the planet’s most relevant pageant, drawing nearly 100 national representatives each year to compete at international festivities in the Philippines. The reigning Miss Earth Melanie Ader and Miss Earth USA Yashvi Aware will attend activities in Las Vegas.

 

The Miss Earth USA organization is recognized as a charitable organization with 501(c)3 status. During national activities in Las Vegas, delegates will conduct a clean up in partnership with Garbo Grabber and The Clean Earth Project.

 

USA delegates vying for the national title are selected based on leadership and communication skills, as well as pageant and modeling experience. State and regional representatives dedicate their year to serving their communities. Special projects are planned as well such as a Puerto Rico mission trip and New York Fashion Week.
