Miss Earth Announces Vienna, Austria as 2015 Competition Host City
Manila, Philippines - After hosting the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest and the Life Ball European charity event, the world will have a look once again to Austria on November to December this year. Specifically in Vienna, where for the first time in history, the world final of one of the three largest beauty pageants in the world – MISS EARTH – as it celebrate its 15 Crystal Years, will host its coronation at the Marx Halle, one of Austria’s historical centers.
The Miss Earth Austria Organization, headed by Sina Schmid, takes over the entire planning and implementation of the event which will have a live broadcast worldwide on December 5, 2015. "We are delighted and honored that we have been awarded the contract by Carousel Productions for hosting this event!" said Sina Schmid.
From June 16 to 18, Carousel Productions President Mr. Ramon Monzon and Executive Vice President Ms. Lorraine Schuck came all the way from the Philippines to discuss final details and to see Vienna; where both parties signed the hosting agreement.
Miss Earth 2015 will show Austria to millions of viewers worldwide as a country pioneering in humanitarian and environmental fields and as a nation with sustainably – embodying Miss Earth’s motto: Beauties for a Cause.
The most beautiful women in the world will be toured all over Austria, visiting important and world-famous attractions and UNESCO Natural and Cultural sites. From the Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna to the Mirabell Gardens in Salzburg; the breathtaking glaciers of Dachstein massif to the Carinthia's scenic lakes and snowy mountains - Austria will be presented with its incomparable beauty, wide range of culture and its magnificent Baroque buildings.
"We are delighted to welcome more than 100 nations in Austria, and we are confident that it will be a unique and magnificent mega event that will put Austria in the center of world media," Sina Schmid added.

Managed by Carousel Productions of the Philippines, Miss Earth focuses on empowering women through fashion, leadership, travel and service opportunities. Delegates advocate for environmental awareness and protection of the Earth while showcasing various tourist destinations.
